Marvel’s Iron Fist’ Season 2 Gets An Action-Packed Final Trailer

Marvel Iron Fist Season 2 Danny Rand Netflix

After having fought alongside the rest of Marvel’s street heroes in The Defenders and next to Luke Cage in the second season of…well, Luke Cage, it’s time for Danny Rand to return to his element, as the Immortal Iron Fist fights to keep the peace in the new trailer for Netflix’s second season of Marvel’s Iron Fist.

In the trailer, which recently dropped today, we see Colleen Wing warning Danny Rand that he’s pushing himself too hard, though Danny insists that he’s just trying to make the city a safe place, as he’s trying to figure out what he’s supposed to do. In the Iron Fisttrailer, we also see the return of Davos, last spotted in The Defenders, as we dig more into the history of the fighting brothers through some flashbacks. And in these flashbacks we see the warriors training while wearing the trademark Iron Fist mask that…Danny himself has yet to wear.

To Davos, the Iron Fist is a weapon to be used, and that’s exactly what he does. As the trailer progresses, we see Davos wielding a similarly glowing, albeit red, fist as he takes on Danny in some well-choreographed fighting sequences.

But Danny and Colleen can’t do this alone, and that’s where Misty Knight enters the fray in some nice continuity between this season and when Danny and Colleen paid Harlem a visit in Luke Cage. And towards the end of the trailer, we do also see the return of Ward and Joy Meachum, so they’re still around at least. Here, have a look at the trailer in the video below.

All in all, the second season of Iron Fist is looking to be a lot more action-packed and story-driven compared to the admittedly slower-paced, boardroom drama that was the first season. With that in mind, are you excited for the second season of Iron Fist? Let us know in the comments below.

Iron Fist Season 2 stars Finn Jones, Jessica Henwick, Tom Pelphrey, Jessica Stroup, Sacha Dhawan, Ramón Rodríguez, David Wenham, Simone Missick, and Alice Eve.
