ABC has revealed its planned schedule for Fall 2017, and in a surprise move, Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is nowhere to be found.

Though the Marvel Comics-Based drama has been picked up for a fifth season, with ABC officially announcing the renewal just last week, it will not be found in its traditional time slot of Tuesday nights at 10 p,m. in the fall. Deadline is reporting that Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. will replace Inhumans on ABC’s schedule once the new series concludes its short run.

ABC’s new Marvel series, the eight-episode Inhumans, will make its home Friday nights at 9 p.m. following a short-term run of the two-hour pilot at IMAX theaters. Marvel’s Inhumans tells the story of Marvel’s Royal Family of Inhumans. While fans may despair over the series’ Friday night time slot, commonly recognized as a “kiss of death” for new series, ABC Entertainment president Channing Dungey stated that the plan in teaming Marvel’s shows with the retiring Once Upon A Time is to turn Friday into a “destination for fantasy and sci-fi fans.”

The season four Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. finale airs on May 16 and will see the return of fan-favorite Robbie Reyes, played by Gabriel Luna.

Over the course of its fourth season, S.H.I.E.L.D. has typically pulled in around two million live viewers, but has continued to be a strong earner in the Live + 7 ratings, usually seeing ratings rise to over four million viewers.

Airing Tuesdays at 10 p.m. ET/PT on ABC, Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. stars Clark Gregg as Agent Phil Coulson, Chloe Bennet as Daisy “Quake” Johnson, Ming-Na Wen as Melinda May, Iain De Caestecker as Leo Fitz, Elizabeth Henstridge as Jemma Simmons, and Henry Simmons as Alphonso “Mack” Mackenzie.
