’Arrow’: Juliana Harkavy On Whether She’ll Return For Season 6

When Arrow came back from its winter hiatus a few months ago, we got introduced to the DC Comics character, Dinah Drake (played by Juliana Harkavy) who in the lore is known as the Golden Age Black Canary. In the Arrowverse, she joins Team Arrow when Oliver was focusing on honoring his promise to Laurel Lance by finding a new woman to carry on the Black Canary legacy before Laurel passed away.

Since then, Dinah has been settling in with the team and Star City as a detective for SCPD during the day while fighting as a vigilante during the night. In a new interview with Entertainment Weekly’s Natalie Abrams on the SuperHeroInsider show, Harkavy chatted about her journey as Dinah Drake and more. During the interview, Harkavy was asked whether or not fans can expect to see Dinah back for Season 6 which was officially ordered by The CW.

“I wish I have! [laughs] No, I have not, again it’s a lot of speculating and a lot of ideas floating around, but I’m waiting to find out with the rest of you guys. So…I hope to be though because this is truly the most fun, one of the most gratifying experiences that I have had just as an actor and as a human being. It’s been a life-changing kind of [experience], so I hope that it’s going to continue.”

Arrow airs on Wednesday nights at 8/7c on The CW.
