Trump Audio Syncs Perfectly With Lex Luthor On ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live!’

It is still pretty hard to believe that Donald Trump has already been the President of the United States for a whole week now. So much so, that comedians are in full-force poking fun at him, and on last night’s episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live!, there were frighteningly fitting parallels to be found between President Trump and Lex Luthor.

In a special Kimmel Kartoon segment, we see footage from the animated Justice League series from the episode “A Better World.” In this episode, we see Superman confront Lex Luthor, whom like Trump, is the President. Kimmel found Trump’s recent interview with David Muir to be “menacing” at some points, which led to the creation of this hilarious mashup:

I know people keep saying that Trump sounds like a super villain sometimes, but last night he sounded so much like a super villain. We took his words, and we matched it up with video from the Justice League cartoon. Here’s what happens when the Man of Steel meets the President of Gold.

Now, this animated clip is both eerie and hilarious. For one, it is fascinating to see the words of our new commander-in-chief effortlessly coming out of the mouth of Lex Luthor – one of the most iconic villains in all of comic books. But at the same time, given the state of the political climate we’re in, laughter is more meaningful then ever. And the fact that this Trump sound bite syncs perfectly with this clip of Lex Luthor is indeed hilarious. You can watch the segment down below.

DC fans have a lot to be excited about in terms of new films this year. The LEGO Batman Movie opens in theaters on February 10, Wonder Woman opens in theaters on June 2 and Justice League opens in theaters on November 17.
