Amy Adams Discusses ‘Batman v Superman’ Fallout & ‘Justice League’

Amy Adams has been a part of the DCEU playing Lois Lane since Man of Steel was released back in 2013. Fast forward three years later, Adams is currently working on Justice League. During an interview with Variety’s Playback Podcast, Adams explained that the energy on set is full of excitement.

“Everyone’s really excited. It’s a totally different film.”

When Zack Snyder’s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice was released, it was met with mixed reviews from fans and critics. Adams discussed the fallout and said that she really felt for Snyder during this time.

“I just felt for Zack. Zack’s like the nicest person ever, and to see him kind of talked about like that was really hard for me, because he’s really such a respectful director.”

Directed by Zack Snyder, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice stars Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Gal Gadot, Jesse Eisenberg, Amy Adams, Jeremy Irons, Holly Hunter, Laurence Fishburne, Diane Lane, Harry Lennix, Callan Mulvey, Tao Okamoto and Scoot McNairy .

Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.

Justice League hits theaters on November 17, 2017.
